Breaking Bad Drabbles, Season 2, Episodes 1-6

So, part two of my continuing attempts to write a drabble for every episode of Breaking Bad are under the cut. Again, they're pretty Jesse centric, with an unnamed character or two cropping up, and some Walter/Jesse if you squint.

Love them! Very apt, well-observed characterization, and I'm really happy with the choices you've made as to what moments to deal with in each episode.

Thanks! Usually which moments I want to write more about are pretty obvious. There's been a couple episodes where I've struggled to find something more to add though.

I love these! OMG, especially the last one. We love you, Peekaboo Kid. He's the freaking cutest kid ever... well, tied with Brock :P

Brock does put up some pretty tough competition, it's true. Maybe they should have a cute-off. Of course, I find a kid instantly more endearing the second Jesse cares about them. But then I suppose he cares about all kids. Maybe I'll remind myself of this next time a small child is annoying me.

These are great! I really like how you're able to convey appropriate subtext and depth to these scenes in such a concise manner.

Awww, there's such a sad inevitability to the end of Peekaboo and what happens to that poor kid! Part of me hopes that they randomly pick up on what happens to him, but I'm not rating my chances :P

Don't sweat it if you're picking 'obvious' moments in the eps, as we all want to see them being explored in some way :)

That'd be so awesome if the Peekaboo kid popped back up, except it would probably end up being horribly depressing and I'd wish they'd just left it to my imagination instead.

:) I found this from the Breaking Bad Art journal. These are very nice vignettes :)

"Jesse rolled his eyes in the dark, almost relieved that Mr. White was unreasonably antagonistic even in this desperate situation, and then he shifted his ass a little closer to Mr. White's chin."

And that? I died laughing. That's *so* Jesse to be passive-aggressive about how much he hates the situation he's in.
