I'm officially accepted to my study abroad program, and everything is approved on every front, which was a bit of an endeavor. I'm still working out the financial details, but I'm being considered for a fellowship still

Host families are really hit and miss. If you get a good one they are the best and it's really nice to have people to support you away from home (and cook!), but if you get a bad one they can be real terrors.
