the nursery theme would be (Texas - I decided, he thought that was better than me having a 60 lb bag of Texas soil shipped in to give birth on top of, which is apparently what some other crazy Texan chick did when she had to give birth in another state).
Oh my goodness Lawton OK! I know a great about Lawton spending 11 years of my life in Oklahoma. Good luck on that, but yes I don't blame you for wanting to give birth in Texas.
Thanks. I'm hoping we aren't there for longer than the five months or so his next career course will take. We will back moving in October, but visiting Central Texas for Halloween. He may not be able to travel that far from Lawton, after his class starts in November, though so I may be visiting sans hubby for holiday celebrations and whatnot. If I am pregnant by the time the holiday season rolls around, like we want me to be, I may seriously curtail my attendance to festivities, anyway. I can have plenty of fun without drinking, but my tolerance for people being really smashed while I am stone-cold sober is pretty low. ;)
Lawton is pretty close to OKC, from what I understand. Alex lived there for awhile before he was here at Ft. Hood. His branch school and another school are also on that base. He's been actively wanting to show me OKC for over a year and a half, now. I just don't want to like in Oklahoma, Kansas, or any other "Tornado Alley" state since I am terrified of tornadoes. It will be an interesting experience, at least - living in OK. I'll probably be really bored a lot, online a lot, and sewing stuff for a nursery a lot. ;)

I grew up in OKC, which isn't too bad. I don't know how far Ft Sill is, but I can give you guidance for when when you visit OKC.
