1 1/2 cups oats 2 tablespoons cocoa 1/4 cup ground flax seeds (after being ground) 1/4 cup wheat germ 1 cup sugar (I used raw sugar) 1/4 cup canola oil 1/4 cup non-dairy milk (I used plain and chocolate soymilk) 1/4-1/2 cup peanut butter (the amount I used was somewhere in between)
Directions:
1) Mix the oats, cocoa, flax and wheat germ together in a good size bowl, set aside.
2) Mix the sugar, oil and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook for one minute and take off the heat.
3) Add the peanut butter and stir well. Pour over oatmeal mixture, mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper, cookie sheet or whatever you have handy. Let cool in the fridge. They will get more firm after several hours.
