Waving HI! Still knitting, reading, gardening etc here, but less babysitting as the kids are getting big- my baby niece will be starting first grade in the fall.
Hello!!!! I miss you guys too - and you, my lovely brandy, not least! Remember the silly stories we wrote together (one of which is still technically a wip although I fear we shall never bury poor Eva (was it Eva? I can't remember now).
I remember it started I for me when I was breast feeding my daughter. Who is now 10, and about to enter her last year of primary - while the eldest is at what you'd call junior high I guess. I was still married (hah, still single now,but hey, that's life); and I am still working with the same employer and living I the same house. Ticking over , I guess, but life is pretty good for now. Hoping I'll weather the upcoming teenage years ok ;)
If I had the time and money, I'd love to fly over for a reunion - but that's a pipe dream. Skype, though, always good - I Skype with some of my flisters sometimes, would happily do so with you if you fancy... And I can tell you emrose is still around, she was part of a group meet I didn't go to recently (and we skyped!)
Big big hugs lovely - I'll be checking this post

Kimmie! I was rereading the transatlantica journal last night, so hot. Still doesn't feel like something I would write but so much fun!
Yes, you totally had little babies! I still have your sexy rentboy book on my shelf, I enjoy rereading it when I hit the bookshelf!
And I know how to Skype now! I chatted with overnighter for the first time seeing her 'in person'! We'll have to get a schedule together and chat soon! I'm glad Em is still doing well, that's great to hear!
Got married, had a baby. The usual. :) Baby is cute, which is nice. Also loud, which is less nice. Then boyfriend-now husband and I are going on an Alaskan cruise for our 20th anniversary and leaving cute but loud at home.
Also, I've missed you and every time I see anything Gotham related I squee not all that quietly.
Hey you! I'm still in Austin. Wish I was in NY but what can you do? I've got a cat who's a little weird - I'm just hoping that's not my first step towards being a cat lady. Basically same old same old!
Awww, I think of you every time I go on xkcd.com, or I see a duck, or I stumble over some old fanfic files...
I still live in the same place and work with the same employer. I still have a guinea pig (he's been having health trouble recently, I hope he'll recover, poor thing).
I still read a lot.
I've created a FB account (there are, I think, six RL friends on it, and my brother. I didn't use my full name so people I don't particularly care for can't find me. Heee.) I also created a Tumblr account (it's fun watching all the pretty pictures, but it's pretty much impossible to have a discussion with people over there. If you're vaguely interested in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though, there's a lot of great stuff--are you on Tumblr? I can never remember who is and who isn't).
I miss LJ and our discussions--being in a fandom isn't as much fun without it. It's nice "seeing" you, elzed, loracj, zbyzsko from time to time, though! And I do wonder about Joey, muchtvs and the others. I hope they're doing well!
I made the mistake with FB to clicking accept to a bunch of people I went to school with that I totally don't remember and I never post or check it because there's so much to sort through. I haven't figured out the filters over there!
Tumblr befuddles me, overnighter made me an account but I haven't played with it much yet. I am writing in the MCU over on Ao3 but that's about as far as I've gotten into it.
I miss fandom a lot, but I've never found one as friendly and welcoming as The OC.
The OC was special. I played in the BSG fandom afterwards and it was enjoyable, but it wasn't quite the same thing.
From The OC days, I remember more the time we spent talking to each other on LJ than actually watching the show, really. I have the DVDs somewhere but I don't feel like re-watching. I think I'd rather keep my fond memories than finding out it doesn't live up to what I remember, if that makes sense.
Are you brandywine too on Ao3? (Wow, that sounded like a philosophical question, didn't it? :))
I'm here http://belgianhelenc.tumblr.com/ on Tumblr, if you want to follow me--I haven't posted anything original yet, I'm mostly reblogging other people's stuff (a lot of Doctor Who and MCU, as they're my two current interests).
It's a fun place to post pics, gifsets and manips, but for the fic writers, it doesn't seem as welcoming a place as LJ.

I am excited about Gotham and will probably be posting a lot more if it's as good as I'm hoping it will be.

I am still hoping to get a cat one day. I am ready to be a parent. Of a cat.
But I am going to try and parent a new fish first so we'll see how that goes!
