Beautiful. I always believed that Ianto would be the one who would see the pain behind Jack's boisterous facade. I absolutely love it when you write h/c, with Jack hurting and Ianto comforting. Too many out there seem to think that Jack is a heartless bastard who gave up caring a long time ago and it's just not true.

I'm sure Jack gets a tremendous amount of comfort just by holding Ianto and being held in return. He's just not used to having someone there who he can rely on. Ianto's so worried, and then so gentle and caring, just wanting to take all of Jack's suffering away.
