This sums up Jack and Ianto's relationship perfectly. With everything Jack's been through in his long life, he's going to have some dark days and he needs someone like Ianto, who knows him so well, to help him get through them. Ianto knows Jack and accepts him for who he is, and that's exactly what Jack needs.
