That's why it's not a problem when Israel kills over 400 Palestinians: because each and every one of them is a terrorist. I mean, maybe if some of those killed in these raids on Gaza were civilians, then Israel might be in trouble. But since EVERYONE IN GAZA IS A BAD GUY, there's no need to worry

It's not unnecessary. Israel is illegally occupying Gaza and the West Bank and in order to legitimize their presence the Palestinians must all be terrorists, not human beings. And they're terrorists, not a rebellion, not a resistance movement, etc. Granted, Hamas is a terrorist group, but as you and I discussed before, massive bombings and other conventional military action are not how you deal with terrorists. Unless you're Israel.

also, i think this perspective has been popular since colonialism became the thing. "those people" suddenly were animals/terrorists/etc. who had no right to their land/lives/etc.
