This worries me and makes me sad. The local Baha'i group is having a prayer meeting tonight, but since it's after dark and on campus, not to mention cold and rainy today, I doubt that I'll be up to going. Still, they have my prayers

There will be a special Baha'i devotional held this Wednesday evening, February 18th at 7:30 pm at the DuPage Unitarian Church. As you may know, the ad-hoc Baha'i leadership in Iran have been under arrest and their trial is coming up next week. The world-wide Baha'i Community is in fear for their lives because of persistent persecution against the Baha'is and its leadership in Iran. We would welcome your prayers for their safety. My family attended the Dupage Unitarian fellowship back in the 1950s and 1960s. As a Baha'i today, it pleases me to know that prayers were said at the church last night, and that other pastors and churches are organizing a prayer effort as well.
I'm sure it's bad enough being a non-meber of any state-imposed religion, but try being honest and claiming yourself as a Pagan in a conservative American community and see how that works ;p
