Thanks a lot for your nice comment! I'm glad you liked it! I try to be realistic : for this chapter, I've made some research about children's therapy to understand how traumatized children can be helped to get better.
And for my english, I've got an awesome beta who helps a lot!

Thank goodness for Dr.Folding! The parts with the decree of custody and the empty backpack?Makes me teary-eyed,but happy at the sametime. So is the end of this particular story? If so,do you plan on writing more fanfic?Because I think you should stick with it.

Thanks for reading and commenting!
This chapter isn't the last one : we're in December and Seth is six year old, so, if you've watched and loved Season one, I'm guessing you know what's going next!

While some of Ryan's revelations are insightful, what's equally, or more illuminating is what he omits. Sometimes, silences, or what isn't said, is far more telling. In this case, the doctor certainly seems to be listening to what Ryan says and, more importantly, what he doesn't. Their exchange is engaging because of the dialogue, but also because of the way both observe and respond to one another. By including components of Ryan's and the Cohens conversations with the doctor, you also make it clear that the Cohens took their time with him to heart and applied so of what was discussed. At this early stage, they've already learned more about this Ryan than their counterparts did in canon and they've even figured out that his desire or need to please extends beyond them to Seth. He so readily defines himself in the contex of others and simply submits to whatever will accommodate anyone else. It's very reassuring to see that his own likes are being explored and even encouraged ( ... )

And in my story, there is no Marissa...there's one, but she doesn't really matter. In canon, she's another person Ryan wants to be nice with.
It's really hard for Ryan to be sure that his place in the Cohen's family is long-lasting. In canon, the Oliver's arc shows that even six months at the Cohens, he's afraid that they might send him away. And he's fifteen and abble to make an 'adult' reasoning. At five, a kid is afraid that a giant monster could live under his bed : it's totally impossible for Little!Ryan! to convince himself that he's going to live with the Cohens 'forever'.
No huge gap right now. Next chapter's action is couple of days later. We're in december and Ryan has been living at the Cohens for 4 months.
Being jet-lagged is awful : I flex from France to California last january and for a couple of days, I felt asleep at six in the evening : 'the return of Grandma'...and when I flew back, I was totally jetlagged at work. That was...interesting!!
Thanks again for reviewing!
