Yes, but I really wanted to write what wasn't in canon : an end to the Dawn's chapter! I was really frustrated when I realized that neither Trey nor Dawn were going to be in season 4. They were the reasons why Ryan went to the Cohens!
In this fanfic, with Dawn dead, Ryan can totally accept being in another family without always thinking that he "abandonned" his mom.
