This is absolutely "heart wrenching".

You've taken this aspect of child abuse and written it with great sensitivity.
I adore this S/K and they are at their best here.The last paragraph showing the little abused boy heading off to bed happy and proud of himself.

That is really cool writing from you. I hope Ryan comes up with a few /lots more excursions before the story ends.*nudge*

Maybe he'd like Seth to go on one with him and S/K.

Well, the Cohens weren't really in parenting mode for several months so now, they've got to be at their best! There's gonna be Seth/Ryan's time soon!

At least Dawn dated one guy who was nice to Ryan. It gave him one decent happy childhood memory.

Thanks for commenting! Well, in canon, Ryan only wanted to see the texan guy again, so I guess it's the only one great boyfriend Dawn had!

Wow, that was alot for Ryan to admit to Sandy. You handled it very delicately. I know, b/c I wouldn't have been able to read it if you hadn't. I'm guessing now that all of Ryan's secrets are out, and he'll soon be able to start the healing process.
