First day of school was pretty sweet. I <3 being a senior. TMI Assistant will be fun, the kids are all real sweetharts & the teachers are just so thankful to have the extra help. I'm not going to lie, Johnson can get away with anything. He's the only teacher that can send half of his class out to get slurpees. That said, if you're willing to give his style a chance, he's the best teacher you'll ever have.

Building on what Brian has to say, the first day of Johnson's class is the weirdest by far. Trust me, you're not the only one this year or of any year to get bad karma from him about the stupid project. His is a class that you really need an open mind about and to give him a chance. About the whole being in the district for a long time thing, sure, he can get away with anything, but he doesn't misuse his so-called power. Johnson doesn't do anything for the hell of it, he always has a good reason.

Trust me, give Mr. Johnson a chance and try to be optimistic about his class, it will work out for the best. It was the best first hour I had in my high school career because I looked forward to it everyday.

i can really only agree with what these folks have to say. Johnson really is an amazing teacher once you get used to his style. give it a week or two, have an open mind, and I'm sure you'll end up enjoying it.
