Workies

So, boss-woman was commenting to her co-workers (quietly, but I hear real good) how much of a weight my simple presence here has lifted off of her shoulders. I am now taking on heaps of interview candidates, calling them, scheduling them, FINDING meeting room space for their interviews, wheeling and dealing with all the managers who have to interview them, entering them into our travel system, and doing it in a way so that things are calm, and the candidate/interviewers think I am this horribly nice person, who is calm and efficient. (if only they knew!)
Glad I get to have the zoomies and get out of my chair frequently to do things -- No answering phones all day! I am getting used to the best of my abilities! AND it is appreciated! AMAZING!
Also, I am virgo-izing the office supplies (they are a mess!) when I have down-time. This includes doing a master office supply sheet. So, boss-lady understands I get bored easily, and keeps putting things on my plate for me to do -- "when I have the time" No mad rushes, no deadlines... it is great.
