You've been given a shot of some kind of hallucinogen, presumably Lysergic acid diethylamide.

[She's well aware that if she takes him to get another shot there's a chance he might up receiving cyanide instead, but if she lets him just stay as he is then he'll die of the virus... And honestly she's almost at a loss as to what to do.]
