This is lovely, such good and thoughtful writing. The descriptions are as convincing as the dialogue, and so is the backstory that brought these two together. It's all a pleasure to read and makes me want more.

I love how these two have both learned to go somewhere else to survive, and Sansa's sewing is so apt: a ladylike and most touching way of coping with yet another situation (and man) that has been forced upon her. How alone they both are as well, and of course I also loved that it is the glimpse of Nymeria and the longing they both have to see their missing siblings once more that enables them to find common ground - appropriate, too, that what they really have in common is regret and sadness. Guh.

So many details in here as well that stood out: Jaime's vowing never to have Cersei kiss him again, his dream (all those women that have influenced him!), and Sansa gripping the golden hand in her sleep.

I'm glad the writing made you want more, especially as you are not a Jaime/Sansa shipper. (And neither am I, lol. I enjoy reading a bit of Jaime/Sansa, but I'm glad this piece is out of the way because I really want to get back to writing Jaime/Brienne. I do need to ask you about something re: the fic I'm planning
