This was a cool story. Dean would have been about 7, I guess, in this story but as he had been home-schooled before, this would have been very strange to him.

Thank you! That's so cool that I was rec'd. I'm glad you liked the story. I have a lot of fun writing the wee boys.

Don't think I ever commented on this but I should have!

It's so adorable and a little heartbreaking seeing how close the boys were even at a young age cause you just know they were extremely close and no doubt would probably consider each other theirs. It's interesting to see that Dean don't think John can take care of Sam, at least not like he can anyway. Which I think in some degrees Dean did think that, that no one but him could take care of Sam not even John or Bobby.

Anywho I liked John's POV it was very insightful.

Thank you, what a wonderful comment!

Yeah, I definitely think Dean feels he is the one that should take care of Sammy. John gave his brother to him, and was probably not good right after Mary's death. Little Dean stepped in, and Sammy became his.

I'm very happy to hear the POV worked for you. John's a very complex character, and interesting to write.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked that little moment. Kids are so easy to mess with, and I can so see John using that to his advantage when he needs to. (Plus the idea of wee Sammy wanting so badly to help makes me smile.)
