Google = Microsoft?

Have you noticed that Google is now employing the same color palette in logos that Microsoft uses? It's creeping me out.

I don't use any of em, cos quite frankly, I don't care, but they actually have some very cool skins to choose from now. I saw the choices when they first introduced em. With dial up, my Gmail is slow enough, I don't need any extra bells and whistles baggage slowing me down
