So I am sure that Laura is bound to disown me for this but I think that if Obama wins the democratic nomination depending on who he would chose for his VP and who got chose for the Republican's I might endf up voting Republican in the presidential election. In the end I prefer McCain to Obama any day...... so sad. Don't be too mad at me

Why do you find McCain attractive? Is his voting record that much more liberal and supportive of women's rights than Obama's? I'm actually leaning more toward Hillary, but republican?

You do realize that McCain is not pro-choice, has said that he would appoint conservative supreme court justices, establish permanent bases in Iraq; is pro-war with Iran; has funky immigration plans...has actually HUGGED George Bush, after W. and friends politically raped him during the primaries (this during the 2000 primaries)...

Okay, vote republican if you must. All children must bring disappointment to their parental-type units at some point, it will just be your turn :)

I will however just ask you to write your justifications for threatening to vote republican, so that your children and my grandchildren will be able answer their tortured cries of "WHY??? Mama Z, WHY?"

Nor does it qualify you to run a country. I want a president who already knows the ropes and how the game is played on Capitol Hill and can get right into solving all of this shit. I don't want someone who's going to have to spend their first 2 years training and learning the ropes. Maybe if the country were in better shape, but as it stands this is not the time for someone to do on the job learning.
