I hope all the Americans on the flist are having a Happy Thanksgiving. Mine is a bit crazy and I'll do a real life post in a day or two. Meantime... the BBC Radio 4 Christmas season schedule has been announced so we now have air dates and times for the final Cabin Pressure, Good Omens, and other goodies.

These are really exciting announcements! :-D Two reasons more I cannot wait for Christmas! ;-)

I really hope Zurich will be a worthy conclusion for the wonderful Cabin Pressure journey. I also found this fun Cabin Pressure advent calender on tumblr (http://cabinpressureadventcalendar.tumblr.com/post/103173029964/hey-guys-with-cabin-pressure-coming-to-an-end) where you listen to all the episodes again to prepare for the finale. Sounds like fun! :-)

I'm confident it will be. Media not living up to the perhaps impossibly high expectations set by online fandoms has certainly been a frequent problem in recent years, but I have faith in John Finnemore. He knows what he's doing and has never come close to letting me down yet. Even my least favorite episodes of Cabin Pressure are still good and have good stuff in them.

The advent calendar idea does sound like fun. I'd love to do it, but there's no way I'd pull it off. My family is going to Disney World (and a day at the Harry Potter parks!) for basically a week from 15 to 23 December and I doubt I'd find 30 minutes every day while there to listen to an episode. I definitely could listen to lots of stuff while waiting in lines if I were there by myself kind of thing, but I'll be chatting with them. Not that I'm complaining about Disney World with the family!

In case you haven't seen it: John Finnemore is getting in on the advent calendar fun, posting a behind the scenes fact or story on his blog for each day's episode. So far: Abu Dhabi, Boston, and Cremona.

Oh, these behind the scenes infos are really interesting!! Thanks for sharing! :-)))

I haven't kept up properly with the advent calender, though... I was travelling and for some reason it was impossible to copy the episodes on my mobile phone. :-/ But I might catch the new few episodes at least!
