I'm getting ready to go over to Brian's, but, I wanted to tell you that I loved this entry. You are such an intelligent person, and, I support your decisions, whatever they may be. I'd rather your path didn't go too far away, but, trust me, I understand the need to explore and get away. You know I'll visit, no matter where you are. I love you so so much, and, I hope to see you soon. I'll write more later. And, you are right about Trout, he does look like a tiny tiger. ;) I'm sorry I've not sent his photos, I will. Still reading A Death in the Family, and, enjoying it so far. Thanks for letting me borrow the books! The chocolate man sounds awesome, you are a wonder, and, I'm glad you helped him write the story.

kari! thanks for being so sweet :) i think you should definitely come visit sometime this week... i have a SURPRISE for you :) so do come but i can't tell you what it is... i'm glad you like a death in the family, i read it late at night this past summer and it was very nice to have around during the hours i couldn't fall asleep but needed to the most. it's a night book i think, but you need to read princess bride next because it's just beautifully and cleverly written. anyway, love you!

Maybe tomorrow...it's Wednesday night, isn't it? That can be our night if you want. ;) A surprise, huh? I wouldn't want you to tell me, I dig surprises. Let me make sure I can do it, and, would my mom be welcome? I haven't said anything to her, but, with her not working...she might not have any plans...let me know what you think. Love you!

Hey, there, sweets. I just found out that your dad has invited us over for dinner tonight. My dad is also planning a boat ride later this afternoon. This kind of thing doesn't happen often, and, I'd like to hang out with them. But, then, tomorrow night, Allen got tickets to this new country bar/dance place and there's going to be a buffet and dancing, I guess. I am pretty sure your mom is going. I don't know if Allen is, or not, I haven't gotten a lot of details. But, my mom and dad are going, and, I'd like to go. Because, again, this kind of thing doesn't normally happen. And, I've drawn a blank to what's going on Friday night, but, as far as I can remember, nothing is. So....are you heading out to Charleston Friday night or are you free Friday night? I'll be honest with you, if you tell me you're only available tonight or tomorrow night, I'd probably go ahead and come up there instead. :) Anyway, just wanted to kinda give you a head's up and find out what your nights looked like...let me know, because I want to see you ( ... )

the story about the toothless scary man makes me smile from here to lan-caster/lank-ester. And it makes me want to drink a cup of my newly bought fair trade coffee in my new $10.00 coffee pot.
