It was early enough that Stefan could still feel the tug of wanting to go back to sleep. His hand ran through her hair, pulling her in against himself. A soft sigh coming from him as he let his words rumble to the surface, "It's quiet."
Stefan pressed his mouth to the top of her head, letting his words murmur into her hair, "Were you now? That's awkward."
He teased, lightly, but mostly he was just content to keep her close. His hand carding through her hair and brushing down her back. Letting his fingertips press down along her spine, he smiled as he pulled back enough to look at her. "See, they say it starts with finishing each other sentences then it leads to the thinking the same thoughts... before you know it," he let the sentence drop off as his fingertips kneaded into her lower back, massaging lightly.
"We mind meld into one person?" she smirked, leaning into his hand as one hand moves up, her fingers tangling in his hair. "And proceed to get on everyone's nerves with our finished sentences and silent communication?"
