Do you know anywhere near Violet City to catch a good pokémon?
I've been to the tower but nothing caught my eye.

Try Route 32, just outside of town. There are Wooper, Mareep, and a few other Pokemon that you may not have seen yet. If you war going to challenge Falkner, a Mareep will give you a type-advantage in battle.

I went to Bellsprout Tower with that Football Freak and caught myself a Gastly.

I'm gonna look into that cave next. See if I can catch something as cool as these guys.

Otherwise I've been trying to get stronger to try and challenge the gym leader here in Violet. I heard he's really strong.

He is, I barely scraped by a victory with him. Be careful with Chihiro, though. Grass types are weak to his Flying types.

Oh, ummmm! What about Normal types? I have Mirai and Renji too and they are a lot stronger than Chihiro. Maybe I could try and weaken him first before Chihiro has to fight.

I don't think Normal has any weaknesses. At least, Lara hasn't had fought anything that had a super-effective move yet.
