Next season is going to be ugly

As all of the EPL teams slowly start to unveil their kits for next season, it is dawning on me.  There are going to be a lot of fugly-looking kits in the fall.

Example: Dan: who at Puma going to get dragged out and beaten for what they did to your kit?  It looks like someone took a yellow high-lighter to it.  What a horrible step backwards, last season's kits with the striped socks were really sharp.

The new Chelsea kits look brutal.  If this is the future template for addidas, God help us all.  What is with the zipper in the front?  It looks like a bad training kit.

Now that Wolves are in the league, looks like we'll be seeing alot more pumpkin orange in the league (see the Hull tiger-striped abomination).  And Burnley is another team that somehow thinks that claret blue and burgundy are acceptable matching colours (see West Ham and Aston Villa, along with a whole host of lower league teams)

At least our kits will be looking better this year.  I actually want to pick up a road black kit, a definite step forward from the "TFC grays" we had last year.  I'm praying the general revulsion at the Chelsea kit will mean our home kit doesn't get the same treatment when the eventual refresh happens.

Anyway, a slow afternoon at work ultimately leads to this kind of post
