Well, back in the office on the Tuesday after Labour Day.
Year after year, I keep swearing to myself that I will take this week off to avoid the usual insanity that occurs on our roads and take advantage of any deals or general peace-and-quiet of empty vacation spots. I realise that I soon will have no choice but to become one of the herd when Nicholas goes to school, but before then, we at least have the option.
I will also look forward to a year when I actually have a full slate of vacation that is NOT to be used up for childbirth or surgery recovery.
In other news, Steph and I have compiled one of our famous "To Do" lists on house things that need to be done before the winter. It is a massive list, but if we do it, the casa-de-Holko will be in much better shape for it.
This fall is all about the push to tidy up all aspects of our lives. When things are going alright, it is easy to coast on some things, particularly as we got used to the little guy.
Anyway, I best get back at 'er.
