I don't know where I am, or what exactly is going on. I don't know if anyone will be able to read this; if writing this isn't a waste of my time. There's fog but no snow outside from what I can tell, which implies this may not be Silent Hill. This doesn't seem to be the nightmare version of it either. What's going on? I couldn't say. I seek the

[Behind Hayden, his least favorite ghost sticks it's head onto the screen briefly, looking like it's tempted to try going for his neck again, but for once deciding to stagger its way off with only that brief appearance. Hayden continues talking, seemingly unaware that it was there.]
Hopefully someone explained about the tape. I've never heard of Silent Hill, but given your expression, it and this place are about on the same level. However, the ghosts don't seem to be easily hurt unless you want to waste tape on them. And the only children here are Violet and Saria, and niether fits the description of your daughter. I'm sorry.

[Harry reaches for where his gun would be automatically, and frowns. The sight of any creature--ghost or monster--puts him on edge.] Be careful, there was something behind you.
You're right about that. Silent Hill... there were monsters everywhere.
There's children here as well? [Harry frowns, not liking the sound of that one bit. Children shouldn't be subjected to these kinds of horrors, he thinks.]
I see. I'll just have to keep searching, then. If that town brought me here, maybe it will bring Cheryl too.

I noticed it. It seems to have finally learned that messing with me is painful. Proof even dead dogs will learn new tricks.
[His face is tired.]
I'm not quite sure if Saria counts as a child, but she appears much like one, and Violet herself is fairly young. Still, the best one can do is be there if something takes a shot at them.
Where were you before you ended up here, if I might be so bold as to inquire?
[Hayden's curious. It's the first time he's met someone who's taking this in a 'been here, done this' kind of way after waking up.]

[Harry nods.] Their parents must be worried...
Hmm... It's a strange story. [But he supposes Hayden would understand and not think him crazy, considering this place.]
I took Cheryl with me on vacation to Silent Hill, but our car crashed. I was knocked out. When I woke up, she was gone. It...was foggy and snowing, at the wrong time of the year...
I searched for her, but all I found were monsters. I was forced to fight them, before they could get to me first.

Sir, would you happen to be Harry Mason? I know someone who might know something about your daughter, but I've got some mixed news. You're not in Silent Hill, but this place is haunted. We haven't found any weapons that work against the ghosts here aside from rolls of red tape so anything you had before wouldn't be much use anyway.
If you need any questions answered, I'll be happy to help. My name's Mika Whitepaws.

[And that startled tone morphs into one of full blown shock.] Tell me everything you know!
I have a lot of questions, but they can wait. Please, I just want to find my daughter.

I don't have much, but I have a quick question for you; what do you know about time distortions?

[He trails off, and then resumes with a different thought.] I don't know much about them, but it shouldn't be too hard for me to understand.
