I saw you still had me listed as a friend, which is no problem whatsoever. I just happened to click over to your journal and I see you don't update often. However, if you get this in time, I wanted to make sure you know Louis Giglio is coming to Austin a week from today with Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman in case you're interested.

Actually, I was blessed to be able to see Louie, Chris, and Matt, along with John Piper, Beth Moore, David Crowder, Charlie Hall, Nathan and Christy Nichols and the rest of the gang at Passion06 at the beginning of last month (the same days that preceded the Rose Bowl). And if you're in the Christian group that are the sister group to Brothers Under Christ, then I met some of your friends there in Nashville (they were mostly juniors) during the conference.

Coincidentally, it looks like we will be in Austin this weekend as we visit our son, who is a sophomore at Jester. Sometimes he attends Tomlin's church (I think it is called "Stone Free" or something like that). Anyway, with Game Day coming to the Erwin Center on Saturday morning, Villanova in town for an afternoon baseball game at Disch Falk and then Kansas on national television, there is a lot going on this weekend in Austin. Awesome! I wanted to go to Passion '06 but wasn't able to make it work. My brother is in BYX but I'm not in Phi Lamb, though I do know quite a few of them.

Oh yes! I lived in Jester my freshman year and I go to his church (Austin Stone) often. Enjoy your trip!

small world . . . have your brother say "hi" to my son Travis (actually Travis is his middle name and he also goes by Sterling), a sophomore in BYX . . . Travis went to Passion05 last year (and missed going to see the game against Michigan in the Rose Bowl).

I think I've read something similar before, but it's always good to remind myself why God is worthy of worship.
