Horrible Horrible Music

What's with my local Asian Supermarket playing stereotypical Asian themed music lately? It's not just anything either... traditional Chinese songs played back rendered with MIDI instruments from what you'd hear on an early 90s FM synthesis sound card. Think I need a podium to apologize on on behalf of all Asian Americans for what was played.

Would that be 99 Ranch Market?

That place was my safe haven around Christmas...not a chance of hearing the accursed Paul McCartney song...instead it was these really awful royalty-free Casio-like renditions of traditional Christmas songs. Bliss!

Yep! 99 Ranch. It's nails on a chalkboard for me.

I remember going to a Chinese restaurant when I was younger and they would ALWAYS play Glory of Love.

From The Karate Kid II, Part II.
