Thanks man. Yes and no. I can finally jump out of planes whenever I want, but I still have to be coached until I obtain my A License.
Meaning, I have to shadow or mimic the coach on a number of maneuvers that I have already demonstrated in the AFF Program but with better accuracy. For example, track maneuver, I have to track away from my current position 10 degrees towards heading... then 20 degrees.
Once I obtain my A License, I can jump anywhere in the U.S. But there's still a number of requirements on the proficiency card that I have to meet in order to obtain it. That's why I still need a coach.
Now that I have graduated from the program, I don't have to worry about the pass or fail factor! Also, it's a lot less expensive to jump now. The training course put a hole in my pocket, but it was worth it.
