His family has probably demanded that he marry a rich heiress so he can carry on the family name, and *then* he can come out!

...because really. She could do a LOT worse than Luigi for a trophy husband.

Well I think it might go both ways - she has the demand to marry someone wealthy, and so does he. The fact that he is gay just factors in to the marriage the way it has over centuries..... It's just an added bonus.

But you know, he might be bi instead of gay - which would allow for marriage with a lot of spice ;)
