I'm updating from my parents' home right now. They were really glad I could visit like this; when I was in Brazil I would see them twice a year - once when I came to them and a second time when they came to me. Things haven't been stressful... but they haven't been exactly easy either, so seeing them and letting their pace guide mine was refreshing

I am too. For the first time, I really feel like the us of the future is going to be okay.
