i get it, but i don't understand part of it. it seems like the whole thing fits except "why do you hide, why the disguise" what does it mean? and whats a veritas?

p.s. though i can't understand parts of it, its still really sweet. the whole metaphor to a heart is really deep, and sweet

1. veritas = truth (latin)

2. "why do you hide, why the diguise" = the person being reffered to was hiding themselves, who they were, things about them from me

3. it's about an old thing...in the past
