Oh, good, there you are. [She comes up beside him and unceremoniously drops her sword onto the grassy - floor? ground? - narrowly missing his foot. A few curious butterflies land on it experimentally]
[Amy waltzes in, bare-footed and dressed in a sort of blue bikini with a skirt that doesn't leave much to the imagination. Princess Kida, apparently, though her hair is too red and her skin is too pale to really make the costume work. It seems to suit her, anyway.]
[It's a Cully! Dressed as one of the Muses from Disney's Hercules/. Lots of pleating and ridiculously ornate drapery, but the end effect is a good one. She pauses to-- well, yes, check out Amy, but the girl is rather asking for it, dressed like that.]
Which Disney princess is this supposed to be? I don't recall any of them being quite so... hm, well.
[Have an arched eyebrow. Are you questioning Amy's fashion sense? Really.]
I'll have you know that Princess Kida had a very forward-thinking sense of fashion. Or maybe backwards-thinking, since she was thousands of years old...
[Quite the opposite, actually; more admiring the lack of... well, lack of almost everything involved in Amy's fashion sense. Possibly that was a clumsy attempt at flirting. Oh well.]
Semantics, either way. You'll get no arguments from me.
[stares around at the inside of the butterfly room with delighted fascination, dressed up as Mulan with some (very heavy) armor that she found in the TARDIS wardrobe - that only needed a little scrubbing to get the mud off - her hair pulled up, and a sword about as big as she is]
[Yates has shown up dressed as Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty, thought the red cape and flamboyant hat make him feel rather as though he's dressed as the Doctor]
Hello, Jo! [he beams at her, thinking she looks as adorable as a peach in her Peter Pan costume] You as well! Do you like it? [He doffs his hat and swooshes the red cape for effect] Couldn't find a horse, unfortunately.
[Hey, it's a Fitz! He's come dressed as Eric from the Little Mermaid. (Gotta love a big puffy shirt.) He's currently frowning at a cake with the number 75 scrawled across the top.]
Call me Mike [he corrects, shaking Fitz's hand and adding] Happy birthday. Must be the time travel - I've done plenty of the running from bug-eyed monsters, and something tells me it's just not going to be quite as effective. [he remembers his previous conversation with Fitz, months and months before, when the man said that he was a Time Lord like the Doctor] Then again, 75 years probably isn't that much for a Time Lord?

Oh, muffins! [He picks up a particularly delicious looking one and bits it. Apple cinnamon. It is his lucky day.]

Mike! You look like you've raided the Doctor's wardrobe.

[As far as a horse goes...]
And, well, this is the TARDIS. I bet we could find a horse tucked away somewhere if you really wanted one.

I'm on a special regimen. Time travel and running from bug-eyed monsters. [He leans forward for a handshake] Yates, right?
