[Basini has managed to wriggle out of Theta's grasp and is hiding in the living room, huddled behind a chair. His school knapsack is next to him, stuffed with all his precious things -- money and cigarette stuff mostly.

He hasn't been outside since this began, but he's heard things. The boy looks greenish-pale and grim as death.

Though the idiom "screaming like a girl" also applies, but you would too.]
