Another wonderful chapter. I particularly love the way Sherlock gives in (just enough) to John's demands that he sleeps. So delicately written.

Are there really cheerleaders in British sport? I didn't know that, I thought that was strictly an American activity. Live and learn!

And there are indeed cheerleaders! Or at least, the University of Westminster has them; I've only done research into that university, so I can't speak for other places.

As for cheerleaders, it is a very, very minority thing and has only really developed in the past 10-15 years. Most unis have ceerleading squads but the concept of cheerleading is not embedded into the sporting experience in the UK, whether at university or elsewhere.
