Beyond massive rant

Mercer Financial Aid sucks beyond all recognition. I'm unsure of my continual presence there. More to come as my anger more than likely will grow with new information.

Well, first of all, I call went by the financial aid at Macon State to check on my HOPE check which should have been in weeks ago. I went by after class (10AM on a Thursday) and no one was in there. I found this odd, so called every 10-15 minutes today which no one even answered the phone. I called their main number, and they transferred me without letting me explain. Well, you can guess where they transferred me to. Eventually, it just stopped ringing over there when I called (maybe the person sitting in there got tired of the phone ringing?) and it just went straight to their answering machine. This pissed me off quite a bit as you could imagine ( ... )

That's sad, did you lose hope or are they just not finding it?, and my debate scholarships didn't show up yet because there was a lot of juggling happening with Caress so maybe that's also a problem.

Upon further investigation, I have discovered that my GPA has been miscalculated. This is what is causing my Macon State Problem, but strangely enough, Mercer still realizes that I have HOPE. I have the registrar looking into my GPA calculation and getting them to do it manually because I hate to tell them but with the grades I have even though the pluses get knocked down to the letter grade, that still gives me at least a 3.0.
Still investigating the Mercer problem although it seems that Mercer is the cause of my Macon State problem... Thanks for the heads-up about the debate scholarship.
On a side note, I havn't heard from you lately. How are things going?
