Oh, man. When I was in high school, I hater the song of hers that had "Shakespeare" somewhere in the lyrics. I don't hate her now (nor do I care about her) but I was curious.
It's rare that I find a pure, sugar-pop album that I like considering how unbearably facist I am where it concerns music, but her first album was one of those few. "Billy S" was incredibly stupid, as was a lot of the album, but it was fluffy, light fun.
And the icons? I just think she's hot. No further explanation than that one, really. :)
