Oh, it is moist, without being wet!

Second loaf from the Breadman breadmaker.

Now, for those in the know, chronovius has a psychological "thing" about eggs. He can't stand looking at them, things named for them, or eating them (in a recognisable format). So, this isn't "egg bread" in our house, it's "yellow bread" or "golden bread." Since I baked this loaf, however, it's "OMFG, gimme gimme gimme."
I do believe it will be a staple in my kitchen.
Out of The Biggest Book of Bread Machine Recipes, for a 2 pound loaf
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (I used unsalted butter)
  • 4 cups bread flour (I used unbleached bread flour)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt (Kosher got used)
  • 1.25 teaspoons bread machine yeast

That was the order of assembly, per the machine's instructions (liquids, dry, yeast), and then let it run on plain ol' White Bread cycle.
Several hours later, I got the above photo.
I'm making another loaf right now, to take to my D&D game tomorrow. Dang, but that machine kneads enthusiastically! The table is shimmying!
