We saw the Beastie Boys.
Fan fucking tastic. Seriously.

We ate at Chicago Diner (at my insistance).
More vegan yum.

We went to the Shedd Aquarium.
It was insane. Absolutely insane.

And we smoked a ridiculous amount of weed and drank a lot of wine.
My life is pretty fucking sweet.

Funny you should say that..
Matt's going to be recording in Orange City (which, according to Yahoo maps, is about a half hour away) for the next few weeks and I may make a trip out to see him for a weekend.

So maybe in like, a couple weeks?

hahaha too bad it aint true but the stache is pretty uhhh pervy...where did you guys stay? I was thinkin of planning a trip out there but all the pretty hotels are rediculously expensive..

We stayed at the Inn of Chicago... for only $169 a night! Most nights it seems that hotel is around 300-500... so it was a pretty good deal.

We had a really tough time finding a hotel though... check orbitz and all that, but I'd say call the hotel directly to make a reservation. Sometimes they have deals.

There is a place called the Write Inn in Oak Park, about a 10 min subway ride from the CITY city. It was in a GORGEOUS neighborhood, and our room was old, but nice. That was $97, but we had a murphy bed too, haha.
