I don't! Last I heard, she just kind of up and left. I know Gretchen tried to email her, but she either never responded, or the address was no longer usable. The ever elusive Caruso...
You should probably read that book. It's incredible.

HI DARLING! So you should just keep it! It's a good reference guide and there are at least 5 copies that I can borrow from the InfoShop at anytime.
I haven't read Freakonomics but it's on my reading list for the winter break. I got my wisdom teeth out so I'm prescribed a weekend of SLOTH. Stoked. I read this book called "The Sexual Politics of Meat" which I really liked. I think you'd enjoy it, too. It talks about the sexualization of meat and it's the whole vegetarian-feminism theory. It kind of drags on but I still found the whole theory to be very fascinating. What the fuck, I sound like the biggest nerd ever. And I just bought a Paul Frank calculator watch from Pop Deluxe yesterday and it's sweet.
I miss you, baby girl. And send me good book recommendations!!!!
My favorite books that I read in 2007: THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MALCOLM X as told by Alex Haley THE STRANGER by Albert Camus (in French, too..but that took me way longer to read) WOUNDS OF PASSION by bell hooks EARTH DEMOCRACY by Vandana Shiva

Thank you! Should you ever need it back, I will absolutely send it!
I asked for a lot of gift cards for the bookstore because being a nerd is AWESOME. So those will go on the list!
I'm in the midst of Freakonomics... you should definitely check it out. I would send it to you when I'm done, but I'm borrowing it from a friend. And any book that correlates the decline of crime in the 90s to the legalization of abortion is spot on in my opinion. Or IMO in internetspeak.
Speaking of my friend... when you make the pilgramage, you MUST meet my friend Jessi. She's incredible. She reads a lot. She got a bead loom for her birthday and now makes beaded...stuff. I tell her every day how you and her would get along very well.
I haven't been reading too much, but if you want something fun, check out Edward Gorey's Amphigorey. Fucked up crazy short stories with badass illustrations.
Regardless. I want/will/AM GOING TO get around to some REAL. FUCKING. MAIL. Winter break 2008! Woahhh! EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!

So my baby boy is friends with some dudes in Minneapolis, and I asked him earlier if he'd be interested in going to MN sometime over winter break with me. He said yes, so hopefully that'll pan out!! Beaded stuff, books, the whole shebang. Maybe Ring Toss? I DON'T KNOW I DON'T KNOW
Oh and I bought a legit typewriter so I intend on making neato letters over break. Expect some over break, babyyy.

Oh and duhhh, you definitely need to buy Veganomicon by Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero. Aka the authors of Vegan With A Vegeance. It's vital to your survival, quite frankly.
