My first tutorial

Feb 15, 2005 20:47

That's right, kiddies. I decided to make a tutorial on how to make icons on MSPaint.

Why MSPaint? Because that's the program that I use to make my oh so lovely icons.. X3(Besides, it's the only paint program I have..^^ )

And while making this tutorial, I was also able to make two Genjo Sanzo icons.. ^^;

What I made with my tutorial:

I make all my icons in paint and never even knew about cropping and stuff.

You're a genius LOL.

I use Paint for most of the work on my icons... I'm even planning on starting a community for MS Paint icon makers, once I get around to it :) If I start it sometime soon, I might troll through your post comments to let other MS Painters know ;)

I just have to think of a name for it, though... *laugh* I want it to be a community for everyone who doesn't use Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, because there's a lot of great FREE programs out there that can do some amazing things. I just need a name and I've never been able to come up with one :/ Otherwise, I'd start it now and you could be the first member! Yay! :)

Thank you so much for that!

One question? Where's the transparency button?

Ok... ^^; Well there's not really a transparent button(I just call it that.. ^^)

Ok. You know when you press Select, that underneath the tool bar there are two pics? See the second one? Click on that, and that will make the area around the words transparent. ^^
