I'm totally with you on the happiness motivation.
I've made so many changes this year alone that it's kind of unbelievable. But all of the decisions I've made have been because I realized I wasn't happy where I was at and needed to change that. At first I thought I just had a problem with craving change, but I realize now that I'm just doing what I need to do to keep myself happy without hurting people. I know I haven't totally succeeded in that aspect because I've hurt some great people along the way but it was something that had to be done in order to achieve my total happiness.

I never really thought about it before. I'm glad you posed this question.

Happiness is definitely a motivation for me and knowing that there's always something bigger and better out there to work towards even though I may not always know what it is. Just knowing is enough. I also want to be able to look back on my life when I'm 90 years old and be able to say that I've done all that I can do, loved with all my heart, and in a way feel "ready" to move on to my next life when that time comes.

Self-discovery. Discovering who I am, comparing it with who I want to be and doing whatever I can to produce a catalyst for that change.
