do you know what sprint's coverage is in your area? i always found it pretty crummy if i headed away from the 1-5 corridor, but i left about 5 years ago.

I have wifi at home! I don't know, I don't know. I'll check Sprint coverage. If it's good, and it's reliable enough, I might have to change.

My worry is that I might use more than 500 minutes...

Yes, they're just in beta now and have enough users. You can sign up to be informed when they're opening it up to more.
