Wow. It's like something out of a movie! I hope that one day Linda and Kathy know the truth.

I have known that Kathy was Kay's daughter for many years. I've encouraged my mom to tell Kathy the truth for a long time. I'm glad I have more info so in case my mom dies without telling Kathy I will be able to give her solid information (if she wants it).

I didn't know about Linda and the other baby, but now that I do I feel good that I can give her some solid information too (if she wants it).

I wish my mom would talk to both of them before she dies. Kathy is battling breast cancer and I feel like Mom needs to clear this up with Kathy (if that's what Kathy wants) so Kathy can feel at peace with her own life and questions.

Mostly I think it is a sad story about another generation's prejudice and fear. The truth won't make a huge difference to anyone, really, unless they deeply want to know.
