i don't think you should stop writing unless you sincerely want to or else they'll have won. i know it's not about winning, but it is about for standing up for yourself. do the things that YOU want to do regardless of others. be strong when it's hard to do so. take criticism and meaningless banter and just screw it. katie, do the things that YOU want to do, and disregard what everyone else says. it's not their journal... and it certainly isn't their life...

i agree with the person above. i think to stop writing in your live journal because you get nasty comments is letting whoever is writing them "win" so to speak. clearly, you write here because you need an outlet, which is fine. i think the best thing to do is to keep writing here if you want to, and completely ignore the rude comments left here. by ignoring them, you are taking the high road and showing that they dont bother you. you're satisfying whoever is writing the mean comments by replying to them and getting upset, which is what they want. remember, you've also gotten some very supportive comments in here as well, from people who care. bottom line, do what YOU want to do, because it's YOUR journal!

i thought you said that you didn't care what these people said. i thought you said they didn't know you. i thought you said that if they were actually your friends you would give a shit. you know what katie, do what you want, but it's sad to see you give into it when you said you were better than it. people are going to be mean your whole life, so deal with it now. sure, this is only a minor thing...but if you can't cope from this...what can you cope with? i'm not trying to be mean, i am trying to be real.

Dont let a few dumb people get you down when there are so many who are still behind you. if you stop writing now then it is like leting all the dumb people win. keep going and dont let all the jerks get to you!!
