Decorating the mansion had been an... interesting endevor. Which was a nice way of saying Mike's and April's ideas of appropriate Halloween decor hadn't exactly always meshed. So, Mike was dressed as sexy corn. Because someone had to do it. Also, no lie, it made his shoulders look pretty awesome. And he had the (shaved!) legs for it, too.

Besides, he could've been wearing anything and he still would have been in an awesome mood. It was a party!

Goddamn, but that voice was startling at first. Even on the second go-round.

There's various kinds of moddable snacks and beverages in both creepy and non-creepy varieties. Also, jello shots. Some of those were creepy as well.

And so much candy. Oh, the cavities.

Sam felt a little awkward being at a party where she didn't know the hosts, so she was compensating by drinking quite a bit and shifting on her feet awkwardly not far from the drinks table.

She was dressed as a chess queen. Because of course she was.

"Thank you," Sam said warmly, beaming. Even though she'd just grabbed it off a shelf at Party City, it had taken effort, darn it. "I like your costume too, though I think I might be from the wrong time period to fully appreciate it."

She sounded a little apologetic about that. Sigh, multiverse.

Really now, where else would Derek be besides the dark corners of the party? He was eyeing the spooky decorations with bland amusement. Because of reasons. Werewolf reasons.

His 'costume' was a stolen flannel and his normal jeans. He also hadn't shaved for that authentic lumberjack look.

Credit for some of the more April kind of decorations to the wonderful hatesmoststuff , natch. Also, the severed head outside the window is an homage to my friends' Halloween parties where I manage to get spooked by a creepy cardboard cutout of a face in the window year after year.
