My dad always tells me being a teenager is quite possibly the toughest time of your life. It's at this age that the world and all it's "wonders" hits us all at one time. Just think of it this way, as each day passes and we get older, it can't get any harder. You'll find that boy, Keriann. You can't decide you're "destined" to be alone, because like you said, we've only lived 16 (17 in your case) years of our life, and only two or three of those years were actually spent with boys on our mind. Patience is virtue, lol. As for becoming "left behind" That's absolutely ridiculous. We love ya like a fat kid loves cake, G, and we'll always be there for you. You just call our name and we'll be like "Zoomp!" Here we are! And as a concluding thought, you have got everything Keriann, really. Above a 4.0, mad dance skills, and a loving family. You've got what really matters; something to lean back on. You can't get support from guys, they're just too independable and inexpensible. keriann, i dont have a prom date, so we're in the same boat for that matter. like you said, time goes by so quickly. time will put you in a charming guys arms sooner or later. but, like jessica said, you cant get support from boys, so dont feel like your missing anything. keriann, youre not missing anything, youre as good as they come, and youre not replaceable. we all get into lonely/unwanted moods sometimes, but in the end, everyone gets back on their feet. so cheer up!
