This is absolutely brilliant. You created a real dystopian society of angels separated from God, trying to fill their empty lives with everything from sex to junk food in order to compensate for losing their purpose in life. (Not to mention political unrest, in the form of the anti-Seraphim rebellion!)
Uruha and Kai's relationship here is a nice mix of affection and tension - I like the way Uruha kept thinking of Kai during his one-night stand, showing he probably cares for the mechanic a lot more than he's letting on.
The ending was beautiful - a small glimmer of hope in the gloom. And I liked the bit of mystery concerning the "R" (Ruki? Reita? The legendary Reila?) who seemed to be crucial to God's return!
it's curious to know what will happen if God is missing hehe. and yes, politics! i was rather surprised to find that there was a whole angel hierachy, (always thought that all were equal) which led to this...
and yes, their relationship is a difficult one haha. (。'▽'。)
i'm glad you picked up on that!! it's supposed to be Reita, but i left it open to everyone else's interpretations for the fun of it!
i'm happy that you enjoyed it, and thanks for reading and commenting! (ノ ◍•ᴗ•◍)ノ ♥
