...Yeah, It's Me...!

Herro!

Just wanted to remind everyone that I'm alive and well here in Chicago. I've been out here since the beginning of October 2006 for those who fail to keep regular updates with my life. ;o)

As expected, it's different here. Life is certainly more aggressive, complex, and fast-paced. Never a bad thing if that is what you are searching for. As ( Read more... )

who the heck is Charles McCormick? Remember, you don't work for Save the Children, you work for Dialogue Direct. While I agree that this video is biased, I'm mearly pointing out that not is all as it seems with the organization. You make $9.14 an hour to stand out in the cold, and have numourous people ignore you, or just give you a flat out no. Ever ask yourself just how much an hour Matt Bergin or Anne Marshall make? I understand you're not happy by my comments, but believe me, not is all as it seems.

I'm curious as to the relevance of what Matt and Anne make in regards to this topic. What does it matter? What points are you trying to make? But what I find more important...

Who the hell are you? Someone burned from DialogueDirect now out for pointless revenge? If this is the case, my advice: find yourself a hobby, 'Anonymous.'

Boston... I will be there one day in mid march for spring break.

What is a dialoger?

I am only three-ish months away from a BS in astrophysics (essentially) and I haven't a clue what I'll be doing nor where I'll be 4 months from now.

Schweet! Tell me all about Boston upon your return. :o)

A dialoguer is basically what they call 'street canvassing'. Or something like that. Working on behalf of Save The Children (a charity to help those in poverty), we stand out on the sidewalks all day, asking people if they'd like to become a sponsor. Y'know, one of those annoying people. ;o)

You don't have any idea either? :o( That sucks. I'm glad there's someone that can relate, though. Hopefully you figure it out soon, 'cause I fully understand the frustration that comes along with not knowing what step to take next. Good luck!

I do know that if I don't make it into grad school or get a job outside of Lafayette, then I'm staying here. The cost of living is cheap. I have some idea of what I want but I'll be honest, I don't think a job right away will pan out.
