XXII -- video -- Warden filter;

[Spike looks mildly annoyed and somewhat confrontational. The camera shows his head and shoulders, not much else.]

I'm a bit lost. Is Narvin still a Warden or not? Because there's talk of limiting his communication, and last I checked, we don't do that to Wardens.

anarchy in the uk, *omega, *charles tucker iii, *agent k, the big bad, rebel without a cause, *toshiko sato, *wally west, not ashamed to admit it, bloody hypocrites, spike's secretly pretty smart, *the doctor(9), *narvin, !tlv, a spot of violence, now's the time for something heroic, #video, *aldric

Rassilon's an inmate, I've done it from his end.

That's just manipulating the rules.

I don't want my friend trying to manipulate my other friend to hurt people, so you'll pardon me if I don't apologise.

I think you need better taste in friends.

Not only do we not, we can't. But if it's judged that an Inmate's relationship with anyone would be mutually harmful, that Inmate can be prevented from speaking with that other person via the network. I've no doubt it's happened before. That the other person is a Warden in this case is not really relevant.

Narvin can still go and talk to Rassilon in person if he feels like it, I'm sure. If someone threatens to cut off his legs then you'd have more to complain about.

Yeah, it's happened, and I haven't liked it then either. But I won't tell you how to warden if you don't tell me, you know?

But if Narvin can't control his own bloody communication, what the hell is he doing as a Warden?

And I'll complain about what I want to complain about. [Which probably wouldn't be the leg cutting off thing. Spike has strange morals sometimes.]

Nobody is controlling Narvin's ability to communicate or trying to tell you how to act as a warden. This is all on Rassilon. If Narvin wants to speak to him, he'll have to do it in person. It's...really not very difficult.

This represents nothing but a tiny inconvenience to both parties. That's what you're complaining about. But if that's what you want to do, that's fine, you've got every right to.

He's still a warden.

And if I knew I could get away with it, I would do a fuck of a lot worse to Rassilon right now than limit his communication.

Good, fine, I've got no bloody problem with worse. Not by your definition, I'd imagine.

I'd get a demotion for what I'd do.

The worst fucking part? He gets nothing more than a limit on his communications while Narvin's going to get the shit kicked out of him for a month or so, and I'm going to have to watch Rassilon's smug sanctimonious bullshit and do nothing about it.

[He's good and pissed right now.]

Sometimes I hate this place.

What exactly happened?

Isn't the person who's communications are being limited an inmate? It happens all the time, from what I hear.

Warden Filter breakmychest January 28 2011, 21:11:51 UTC
Yes, so does murder. Doesn't make it right.

Did you seriously just compare getting your cell phone taken away to murder?

Warden Filter breakmychest January 28 2011, 21:15:49 UTC
No. Maybe. [...Spike has an interesting moral compass sometimes. It's better than it used to be, at least.] Look, I'm just saying the "happens all the time" is a bloody stupid argument.

I think that kinda depends on what kinda limited communication we're talkin' about.

Between an inmate and a warden. No private conversations.
